Why does Polefessor exist?At Polefessor, our mission goes beyond just teaching pole dance techniques; we aim to enrich lives through the art of pole dancing. Our goals are multifaceted: 1. What if I want to book multiple performances at different times for the same event?If you wish to book multiple performances at different times for the same event, then please specify this as you book a performance. Our performer will then reach out to arrange the specifics with you directly. Keep in mind that when you book, you are paying for the time spent on the pole. If our performers need to stay at the event because the time is spread out, there will be an addition idle fee of $20 per hour charged at the end of the performance duration.

Do I need to provide a pole?For performances, you may either provide a pole or we can bring one to use. When booking, please make sure that you select the correct category! If you need us to bring a pole, please select a Performance booking that says "(Pole Included)".

What type of events can I book a performance for?Here are a list of approved events: - Parties - Music videos - Live performances - Photoshoots - Holiday events - Nightclub appearances - Fashion shows

Are dancers allowed to stay and attend the event after their performance?Staying after the performance duration is the sole discretion of the performer. However, there is no obligation to remain at the event after their performance time is completed.

What is the process for booking a performance?Booking a performance on Polefessor is quite simple. All you need to do is navigate to the Services page and book a performance there with the amount of time you require!

Is tipping allowed for performances?Yes, tipping is allowed. Multiple forms of payment are available including cash, Zelle, and an in-person card reader.

What is the appropriate way to tip performers?To tip our pole performers, you may either put cash into the tip bucket or place it on stage during performances if applicable. You may also tip using the QR code on our business cards, directly after a performance by handing them cash or scanning your card on their readers.

Where can pole performances be held?Before booking a performance, ensure that your space or venue has the following: - Polefessor does not do house calls. - At least 7 feet of clearance in every direction - At least 8 feet of clearance from top to bottom - Temperature must be no colder than 40 degrees Fahrenheit. - Stable and Level Ground (no sand, uneven/wobbly flooring, etc.) - If outdoors, weather must be permitting. No performances will be done in adverse weather conditions (rain, snow, etc.)

How long are the pole performances?Performance length can vary depending on how much time you book it for. When booking, please make sure you select the correct amount of time needed for your event!

Who are the performers?Currently, Sidney Tookes is the lead performer of Polefessor. We will be recruiting more performers as time goes on.

What type of pole performances do you offer?Polefessor offers high-quality performances that emphasize grace, stamina, flexibility and creativity. We do not strip.

What are the rules for clients and the audience during performances?- Taking Pictures and Video (including flash photography) are fine. Please be sure to tag our Instagram if posting on social media! - Absolutely no touching dancers during their performance. - Clapping and cheering is fine if you choose to do so. - Tipping is not required, but always welcome!

Can I choose who performs?Selecting performers is not currently available, however, we plan to give people the option to do so in the future!

Can I book a pole class for a party?Yes! Be sure to book it as a group session (not a 1-on-1) on our Services page.

How much experience do I need to have for pole classes?No prior pole experience is needed. Polefessor caters to each class and private according to the student's needs.

What can I expect from a Polefessor Pole Class?The doors will be open 10 minutes before class. There is a 5 minute grace period for the beginning of class where we check in with each other and catch up. Then, the door will be locked and we will warm up for 3 minutes. After that, we begin choreography/training that lasts for 30 minutes, followed by 5-10 minutes dedicated to recording our progress (optional). To finish off, we will stretch and cool down and part ways until next time! It's important to note that permission will always be requested from everyone in the video before recording begins. If you do not want to be seen in the recording, you are not required to do so.

Who is allowed to attend class?Polefessor allows anyone who is interested in pole to join class. We do not discriminate against sex, gender, body type or disabilities. However, we cannot accept students who are under the age of 18 for studio classes. Minors and/or children are not allowed to attend or view studio classes. For in-home classes, children and minors are OK.

Do I need a pole to book a private class?No, but if you need a pole to be set up, there will be an additional pole fee of $30.

How long are pole classes?Pole classes are 1 hour.

What should I bring to pole class?Please bring water, a towel, a pole grip (optional) and an open mind!

What do I need to wear for class?Please wear a sports bra or a tank top (t-shirts are OK), shorts, spanks (bikini bottoms are OK), and thongs. You may choose any combination of these, as it is your discretion. Shoes and heels are optional.

What types of pole classes are offered?Intro, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Stretching and Conditioning (Privates Only). Please specify this while purchasing your booking.

Where can I attend a pole class?In-Studio pole classes take place in Pole Palace or a studio near you. If you would like to specify the location, please do so at the time of booking.

What do I need to do before attending a pole class?Please sign the waiver form located here. After that, ensure you are not wearing any lotions, oil, or hand jewelry. We are not responsible for any items broken, lost or stolen in classes!

What happens if I break or damage the pole?If the pole is broken or damaged, you will be charged the full amount for any replacement or repair costs.

What happens if someone gets injured on the pole?Polefessor is not responsible for any injuries that occur on the poles that are rented from us. Using the pole safely and responsibly will be entirely up to the client.

Who needs to sign the pole rental waiver?Anyone that will be using, performing, or playing on the pole will need to sign a waiver. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver and be able to provide their supervision. Anyone renting the pole must also sign the waiver as well.

How will the pole be delivered to me?After you book your pole rental, one of our associates will deliver the pole to your specified location for the time selected. Please make sure to provide a complete address at the time of booking. If you do not, we will attempt to contact you to complete your delivery. If the pole is delivered but there is no one to receive it, there will be a 15 minute window before it is considered a no-show. We do not offer refunds for no-shows.

Will someone be there for the duration of the pole rental?For rentals over 1 hour, the Polefessor associate may leave until it is time to retrieve the pole after the end of your rental period. They will return within 15 minutes of the end of your rental period.

How soon do I need to confirm the location of delivery?The location must be specified within 24 hours of delivery date and time. If no location is provided, the pole rental fee will be refunded.

Who is in charge of setting up and taking down the pole?The Polefessor associate who delivers the pole will be in charge of assembly/disassembly of the pole. For performances, security and other authorized personnel are allowed to assist with loading/unloading the pole to and from the vehicle.

Why do you require a deposit to book?The deposit is used to book studios in advance, accommodate for wardrobe/outfit needs, travel, and compensate for the time booked. When you book, we are unable to book anyone else for the same time period. Having a deposit ensures that we can provide the highest quality experience possible for our customers and our performers.

How soon do I need to book in advance?We recommend booking as soon as possible. For best results, it is usually best to book at least 5 days in advance.

What happens if I don't pay the remaining balance after the booking?If you do not pay the remaining balance prior to the performance, the performance will not be completed.

What payment methods do you accept?We accept debit/credit cards, CashApp, Zelle, PayPal, Klarna, Affirm and cash.

Do you take cash payments?Yes, we accept cash after the deposit is placed. If doing cash payments for performances, they will be required before the performance can begin.

How soon do I need to pay the remaining balance after the deposit?The remaining balance must be paid the day of prior to the start of the performance.

How soon can I cancel a booking?You may cancel a performance booking if there is more than 48 hours before the performance time and date. The deposit is non-refundable after 48 hours of purchase.

Can I get a refund after the performance is finished?Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for performances after they have been completed. This is to ensure that our performers are properly compensated for their time and labor. However, if you are unsatisfied with the performance, please reach out to our support team via email:

Do you offer full refunds?For a full refund, you must do so within 48 hours of booking.

What if the performer is late for their booking?Within 48 hours of Purchase - Fully Refundable, Cancellable After 48 Hours of Purchase - Deposit Non-Refundable, Cancellable Within 48 Hours of Performance - Non-Refundable If the performer is late, the amount of time late will be subtracted from the idle fee. (Example, if 15 minutes late, idle fee will be $15 instead of $20). If the performer is a no-show, you will be issued a full refund.
